Technicolour Shadow

Technicolour Shadow, continuing the Vegan Taxidermy series, presents a shift toward interiority and the primitive self. The work reflects on an inner darkness as a foundational space where identity is formed from its origins. Drawing on the presence of the buffalo as a powerful and grounded figure, Filotas explores instinct, the hidden, and language within the human and animal condition. The incorporation of human hair introduces a direct link to the body, deepening the dialogue between the inner psyche, organic matter, and the construction of the self.
